Personal Data Qiyu Technology Collects From You

We believe Qiyu Technology can provide you with excellent products and good privacy protection. This means we only collect the personal data we need.

  1. Registration & Login Data: Username, nickname, email address, mobile phone number, country code, language preference, time zone information, login credentials.
  2. Device Information: MAC address, IP address, wireless connection information, mobile network information, log files, push notification identifier, location information, Bluetooth information, Android ID (Android systems only), IMEI information, sensors, clipboard, Wi-Fi SSID information.
  3. Feedback Information: Content of your feedback, operation logs.
  4. Recording Information: When you use the remote intercom function, we collect your audio content.
  5. Smart Device Information: Based on the different smart device products you choose to connect to our services, we may collect alarm messages triggered by your smart devices.

  1. Smart Device Collection: If you use our smart device products, depending on the relevant cloud services you choose, we may collect your alarm pictures and alarm videos.

You can choose not to provide the personal data we request. However, if you choose not to provide it, in many cases, we will be unable to provide you with our products or services, or respond to requests you may make.

  1. Personal Sensitive Information: Not collected. Certain types of personal information (e.g., concerning your race, religion, political or philosophical views, sexual orientation, and health) are considered "sensitive"and subject to stricter regulations than other types of personal information. Qiyu Technology does not require you to provide sensitive personal information to use the service. By posting or transmitting any sensitive personal information on Qiyu Technology, you agree that such information can be provided within the scope of your chosen privacy controls.


Qiyu Technology 's Use of Personal Data

Qiyu Technology uses personal data for the following purposes.

  1. Registration & Login Data: Set up your account and help you log in; Non-marketing communications to inform you of changes to products, service terms; Provide language customization; Marketing communications to provide you with marketing and promotional materials related to our products and services.
  2. Device Information: Process your device information for product failure analysis after receiving your feedback to improve your user experience. The product uses device Wi-Fi information and Bluetooth information to search for nearby smart devices and guide the addition of smart devices. Location information is used for network configuration; the product does not transmit or store it. The push notification identifier is used to push information from smart devices to the mobile APP.
  3. Sensor Information: When you use the advertising feature, shaking to enter ad content requires sensor usage.
  4. Android ID Information: Buried point processing requires using the Android ID to determine specific device information.
  5. Clipboard: After entering the App, when the user enters the device addition process, clipboard content is accessed to facilitate user device addition.
  6. IMEI Information: When using smart device alarm messages, IMEI is needed to identify different devices.
  7. Feedback Information: Receive your feedback to address malfunctions and other issues you encounter.
  8. Recording Information: Used for the remote intercom function; the product does not transmit or store audio information.
  9. Smart Device Information: Used to display alarm messages generated by smart devices.
  10. Smart Device Collection: Used for playback and viewing your alarm pictures and videos.

Qiyu Technology retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of collection, adhering to the provisions of this Privacy Policy, our specific service privacy statements, or relevant requirements of applicable laws. We will retain your personal data for the period necessary to achieve the purposes outlined herein, in accordance with this Privacy Policy. When evaluating the retention period, we carefully determine whether it is necessary to retain the collected personal data. If retention is necessary, we retain the personal data for the shortest period permitted by law. After the retention period ends, we will destroy your personal information.


Qiyu Technology's Sharing of Personal Data

Qiyu Technology may share your personal data with our partners, service providers acting on our behalf, Qiyu Technology affiliates, or other parties acting at your direction. Qiyu Technology does not share personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Product Sharing Function: When you use product features related to device or video/recording sharing, you may need to submit the relevant person's nickname, relationship to you, and contact information. If you refuse to provide this, you will be unable to use the relevant features. Please note that sharing or similar features will make your corresponding personal information public within your specified scope; you must decide carefully whether to use them.

The nature of our Products and/or services requires you to be an adult with full civil capacity. Transfer of personal data between countries and IaaS Service

  1. Our services are built on Amazon Web Service Infrastructure as a Service.
  2. To ensure the security, reliability, and confidentiality of your data, and to ensure that your data is protected everywhere, we may use encrypted channels to transfer encrypted backup data between AWS's adjacent data center availability zones.
  3. Metfone complies with applicable laws governing the transfer of personal data between countries, including but not limited to the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and personal data relating to individuals in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland is controlled by an AWS data center located in Frankfurt. The cross-border transfer of personal data collected by Metfone in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland is governed by 《Standard Contractual Clauses》


To ensure the security of your personal data, we have communicated the company's privacy and security guidelines to all Qiyu Technology employees and strictly enforce privacy protection measures internally.
